Branding Design Jessica Loya Logo

Problem:

Design a logo for a photography business that will be used on several platforms including social media and brochures that help bring in customers

Solution:

The logo tells clients what the business is, what it does, and how it can benefit them. I made the logo for Jessica Loya’s photography business where she does portraits and wedding photography. I included the sunflower because flowers symbolize beauty, youth and pleasure. Jessica wants her clients to feel happy and comfortable when being photographed while also feeling confident in front of the camera. I also decided to incorporate the sunflower because her old logo had a sunflower in it. I designed mock ups that gave examples showing how the logo could be used. I was sure to include the same four colors from the logo in each design as well as provide a digital version and a paper version including an Instagram post mock up and a brochure mock up. The primary color used is yellow, and should be used over the secondary colors since it is a major part of the logo. The secondary colors are tan, brown and black since they are only on a portion of the logo. I chose these colors because they are the colors of a sunflower which is where I got inspiration for the logo.
