Problem:

Design a logo for the Contracts Management Branch at California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation 

 

Solution: 

I started off with sketching several logo ideas on paper before transferring my ideas over to Adobe Illustrator. The process of designing this logo included many back and forth emails and Microsoft Teams meetings to understand what the client wanted. In the emails and meetings we discussed what the logo should look like and what colors it should include. After coming to an agreement CMB started using the logo in their email signatures and other documents.
